More than likely, you have been or know someone who has been affected by breast cancer in some way. This year, as a flagship sponsor, HGEA is helping to fight back against this disease through the American Cancer Society's 2nd annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk. This 5-mile walk is a fundraising event to help support the American Cancer Society and the fight against breast cancer.

We invite you to join us on the walk. Our goal is to raise $10,000, and with a pledge of $100 each, just 100 individuals joining in the walk will enable us to reach our goal. Each walker is asked to enlist friends and family to pledge $5, $10, $20, or any amount they choose, to reach a $100 goal - no donation is too small! Please help us and encourage your family and friends to join us in honoring our commitment to a very important cause.

Please remember to wear your green HGEA t-shirt. If you don’t have one, please contact Flo Yamada or Mahie Trask (be sure to include your shirt size in your email). Registered team members will receive a breakfast bento after the walk.

If you are unable to walk but want to make a donation, you may do so directly on the HGEA Oahu Team's page. If you’d like to sponsor a walk participant, you can make online donations that will be credited to the participant of your choice. You may also make donations by contacting your union agent, Flo Yamada or Mahie Trask.

Parking will be in the lower Aloha Stadium Parking lot across from Stadium Mall. Participants must walk to/from Richardson Field (where the walk starts and ends). Shuttles will be provided on the walk course from Richardson Field around Ford Island.
