We would like to thank all of you who participated in exercising your right to have your voices heard by completing the negotiations surveys. By completing the survey you have told us what is important to you and your family, and how Kaiser can best provide excellent patient care to the people of Maui and its visitors. Our strength at the table is YOU and your voice because YOU know what is best for patients, what is lacking, what resources are needed, and how “cuts” made by the Employer can significantly impact the care, safety and satisfaction of patients you serve and their families. We have asked you questions and you have told us about everything from staffing needs to resource needs. You have expressed your desire to being treated with respect through fair compensation and recognition of who you are and your profession.
 
However, we want a 100% response because like in patient care, there cannot be a plan without an assessment and a “full” assessment will give the best results. This survey is our assessment. From the information we receive, we will formulate our plan and priorities, and we will know collectively what you are willing to do to achieve the results you desire.
